Using the Peptide Pen

Step-by-Step Guide

The LEVORA peptide pen is designed for simple, accurate, and convenient administration. Follow the steps below carefully to ensure proper and hygienic use.

Before You Begin

Before using your peptide pen, make sure you have:

✓ Your peptide pen
✓ An alcohol swab
✓ Clean hands
✓ A suitable injection site

Step 1 – Wash Your Hands

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

Dry them with a clean towel or paper towel.

Why?

Clean hands help reduce the risk of contamination and skin irritation.

Step 2 – Inspect the Pen

Before use, check:

• That the pen is not damaged
• That the expiration date has not passed
• That the solution is clear
• That there are no visible particles

Do not use the pen if the solution appears cloudy or if the pen is damaged.

Step 3 – Choose an Injection Site

The most common injection sites are:

Abdomen

Inject at least 5 cm (2 inches) away from the navel.

Thigh

The upper outer area of the thigh.

Upper Arm

The back of the upper arm.

Important

Rotate injection sites regularly to help minimize skin irritation.

Step 4 – Clean the Skin

Use an alcohol swab to thoroughly clean the injection site.

Clean using a circular motion from the center outward.

Allow the skin to dry completely before injecting.

Important

Do not blow on the cleaned area or touch it again before the injection.

Step 5 – Remove the Protective Cap

Carefully remove the protective cap from the peptide pen.

Double-check that the pen is ready for use.

Step 6 – Position the Pen

Place the pen firmly against the cleaned skin at a 90-degree angle.

Ensure the pen maintains full contact with the skin.

Step 7 – Administer the Injection

Press the injection button all the way down.

Keep the pen firmly in place for approximately 5–10 seconds to ensure the full dose is delivered.

Tip

Do not move the pen during the injection.

Step 8 – Remove the Pen

Carefully lift the pen away from the skin.

A small drop of blood or liquid is normal.

If necessary, gently apply a clean gauze pad to the injection site.

Do not rub the injection site.

Step 9 – Replace the Protective Cap

After use, replace the protective cap on the pen.

Store the pen according to the recommended storage conditions.

For optimal quality:

✓ Protect from direct sunlight

✓ Do not freeze
